About Angela Major-Linihan

Other Information I have been minding for 27 years and a mother of 4 grown up children. I am a first aider, my eldest daughter is also in childcare, in a nursery and is also a first aider. I am currently minding a very happy 28 month old and picking up a 4 year old from school she is very kind with little ones. I only mind under 5 years as I feel then I can give all my time and attention to the little ones. I provide a happy, family environment, all my family and myself are all DBS checked. I encourage lots of turn taking, sharing and being kind to each other with lots of praise and cuddles. I promote positive behaviour, listen to all the children if they are sad or upset to resolve the reason they feel the way they are feeling. I use distraction on the babies and toddlers. I encourage learning through play, observing their interests and planning their next steps. I have always had good working partnership with all my parents, providing a update throughout the day and making time for feed back at the end of the day. I can provide references.
